Opening event at ICACS March 10th - 12th, 2009

opening_event.jpgIt is our pleasure to invite faculty members and students of SWPS to a series of lectures and workshops delivered by distinguished German and Chinese cognitive psychologists and neuroscientists. Their research focuses on how the dynamics of language-related and oculomotor processes subserve attentional control using reading, spatial attention, and working memory tasks as experimental venues. The lectures and workshops accompany the official opening of the Interdisciplinary Center for Applied Cognitive Studies (ICACS) and the signing of an agreement of intent of scientific collaboration between ICACS, ICCS (Interdisciplinary Center for Cognitive Studies, University of Potsdam, Germany), and State Key Laboratory for Neuroscience and Learning (Beijing, Normal University, P. R. China).
